Three of the six people detained on October 14 as part of a corruption and bribery investigation into the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality were arrested. E.B., M.A.C.D., E.T.Ç., S.Ç., M.K. and Ö.Y. were detained and their homes and workplaces were searched. M.K. and M.A.C. were released after their statements. E.T.Ç., S.Ç. and Ö.Y.K. were arrested, while E.B. was released on judicial control conditions. Several people, including Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek and his relatives, were previously arrested within the scope of the investigation. Three defendants benefited from effective remorse and were released on September 27.
