The indictment prepared against lawyer Rezan Epözdemir on the charge of “mediating bribery” and demanding a prison sentence from 4 years to 12 years was accepted by Istanbul 18th High Criminal Court. According to the indictment, Epözdemir allegedly acted as an intermediary for the release of Zekeriye and Ahmet Mesut Yurtçak, who were arrested in an investigation in Bakırköy in 2021. It was stated that there were statements in the messages between Prosecutor C.Ç. and a person named A.D. that a bribe would be delivered to a person named “Rezan”. Epözdemir will appear before the judge on December 19.
