Journalist Alican Uludağ, who reported on the torture and deaths at the gendarmerie station in Hatay’s Reyhanlı district, was threatened. “We will torture you like in the gendarmerie station,” the message from the US hotline read. Uludağ shared the message on his social media account, stating that he suspected he might be illegally wiretapped and applied to the judicial authorities. After the message referring to the criminal network C31K, Uludağ made a statement saying “I will not shut up”.
