Soylu stated on television that he called former Boğaziçi University rector Prof. Üstün Ergüder and told him not to get into business like that, referring to the protests against the appointed rector. Soylu further stated that Ergüder told him that he is 80 years old and that he isn’t involved in business like that, and that he replied to him with the words, “No, I know you are involved in business like that as a matter of fact.”
