The trial dates of journalists Mehmet Uçar and Bilge Aksu have been announced. The first hearing of Mehmet Uçar, who was arrested in Eskişehir on charges of “illegal organization membership”, will be held on July 8 at Batman 2nd Assize Court. The trial of Bilge Aksu, who was arrested within the same investigation, will be held at Istanbul 14th High Criminal Court on July 3. The charges against both journalists cited news content, social media posts and royalties as evidence.
