The Constitutional Court rejected the request for the provisional release of Tayfun Kahraman, convicted in the Gezi case, on health grounds. The Constitutional Court ruled that there was insufficient evidence that prison conditions posed an irreparable risk to his health. Instead, the Court decided that Kahraman’s health condition should be continuously monitored and that all necessary medical measures, including hospitalization for treatment, should be taken when deemed necessary.
