Attorney Suna Bilgin was sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison in the case she was tried for. The court handed down the sentence based on the charges brought against Bilgin. Following the decision, a press statement was made in front of Bakırköy Prison in solidarity with Bilgin. Bilgin’s lawyers and supporters stated that the sentence was unlawful and announced that they would appeal the decision.
