Urban planner Tayfun Kahraman, who is imprisoned in connection with the Gezi Park case, has appealed to the Constitutional Court for the second time due to the failure to implement the Constitutional Court’s ruling that his rights had been violated. Kahraman, who stated that his innocence had been confirmed by the Constitutional Court’s ruling, emphasized that he had been held in Silivri for four years and separated from his family. He said the appeal was not only about individual freedom but also about the rule of law and the binding nature of higher court decisions. “I want to leave a fair system for my child and future generations,” Kahraman said, calling for the injustice to be rectified immediately.
