A student at Trakya University was expelled from his dormitory for participating in the March 19 protests against the arrest of Ekrem İmamoğlu. The student was informed that he was expelled from the dormitory under Article 24 of the Dormitory Services Regulation. The student, who was detained after the protest, was first given a ban on leaving the country and a signature requirement at the police station, and then house arrest. The student, who had to extend his schooling during this period, said that he still cannot reach his confiscated cell phone. She now lives with her parents and plans to move into a student house if she can.
