The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation against 21-year-old H.D., who used the name “Alyanure” on social media, on charges of “obscenity” and “publicly insulting religious values embraced by a section of the public.” Police detained H.D. in an operation and seized the suspect’s digital materials. Police procedures for the suspect continued.
