Within the scope of the operations against CHP municipalities, Şile Mayor Özgür Kabadayı and 5 people were detained in an investigation launched by Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. The operation was carried out by Anti-Financial Crimes teams with house raids at 01:30 at night.
CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik stated that the night raid was against the law and said, “Let everyone know that the will of the ballot box cannot be opposed and no one can scare us.”
