An investigation was launched against journalist Fatoş Erdoğan for “inciting the public to hatred and hostility” after she took footage of the police intervention in front of the CHP Istanbul Provincial Directorate and shared it on her X account. Erdoğan gave her statement at Vatan Security Directorate together with the TGS lawyer. On September 8, he was injured by three rubber bullets and tear gas during the intervention.
