The trial of CHP Youth Branch Chairman Cem Aydın for re-sharing a video titled “Anatomy of a Traveling GIOTIN: Akın Gürlek”, was heard by the Istanbul 14th High Criminal Court at the Marmara Prison courtroom and adjourned to November 28 at 10:00 am. The prosecutor’s office had charged Aydın with “insulting a public official because of his duty” and “targeting people who took part in the fight against terrorism”, demanding 2 years and 2 months to 5 years and 4 months in prison and a political ban. Aydın and his lawyers did not attend this hearing due to the CHP congress trial in Ankara.
