Sendika.Org journalists Ozan Cırık, Dicle Baştürk, Yavuz Akengin and Eylem Emel Yılmaz, who were detained in Istanbul on June 13 as part of an Artvin-based investigation, were arrested on charges of “membership in a terrorist organization”. The detained journalists’ software services, news copyrights and phone calls were charged. Semra Melek and Melisa Efe were released on judicial control. The journalists were taken to the prosecutor’s office in Artvin after three days of detention and referred to court with a request for arrest.
