RTÜK President Mehmet Daniş warned media organizations regarding the military cargo plane that crashed on the Georgia-Azerbaijan border.
In a statement on his social media account, Daniş said, “Information and statements made by anyone other than official authorities should not be trusted; only statements from authorized sources should be taken into consideration.”
Daniş also requested that images of the crash site and the moment of the crash not be published, calling on media outlets to “respect the sensitivities of the families of the martyrs.”
