The second hearing of the lawsuit filed against 35 people who were detained during the Saraçhane protests that started after the arrest of CHP’s presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu was held at Istanbul 64th Criminal Court of First Instance. The court rejected the demands for “immediate acquittal” and criminal complaint against the police officers and lifted the judicial control measures. Trial adjourned until February 25, 2026.
