In Batman, police raided numerous homes in the Bağlar, Çamlıtepe, and Bayındırlık neighborhoods on the morning of January 11, allegedly protesting attacks on the Sheikh Maksud and Eşrefiye neighborhoods of Aleppo. Selahattin İrekür, Diyar Yarma, Argeş Toparlı, and Süleyman Avşar were detained during the raids. The young people who were detained were taken to the Batman Provincial Police Headquarters after the proceedings.
