In the lawsuit filed against artist Pınar Aydınlar due to her social media posts and the “Tunceli Culture Meetings” program on December 12, 2024, the prosecutor demanded up to 7 years and 6 months in prison for “propaganda” and acquittal for “illegal organization membership”. Istanbul 13th High Criminal Court gave Aydınlar and his lawyer time to defend against the prosecutor’s opinion and adjourned the hearing. Aydınlar had denied the statements of imprisonment demand in some news reports on social media.
