DEM Party’s Van MPs had proposed the establishment of an investigation commission to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, citing uncertainties in the case of Rojin Kabaiş, a university student whose lifeless body was found 18 days after she disappeared on September 27, 2024. The motion raised questions about the non-disclosure of DNA evidence, the distance between the disappearance and discovery sites, the non-disclosure of CCTV footage and the confidentiality of the case.
