Police intervened in a march organized in Nusaybin to protest attacks on Rojava. Thousands of people gathered at the Old Hajj Cemetery in response to a call by the Democratic Institutions Platform and attempted to march to the border. During the police intervention, numerous people, including journalists Kesira Önel, Ferhat Akıncı, Pelşin Çetinkaya, Barış Demircan, Muhammed Ali Yılmaz, and Heval Önkol, were detained. The Dicle Fırat Journalists Association stated that the journalists were beaten while covering the news.
