In the lawsuit filed to close the Tarlabaşı Community Center (TTM), the court rejected the intervention requests of rights organizations. The Istanbul 18th Civil Court of First Instance decided to wait for the outcome of the criminal case against the association’s administrators before ruling on the dissolution case. Numerous representatives of civil society organizations were present at the hearing. The court postponed the case until September 16, 2026. In statements made prior to the hearing, it was emphasized that the activities carried out by TTM for women and children were in the public interest, and it was stated that the judicial process against the association had been turned into a means of pressure.
