Şişli District Governorate banned marches and outdoor events ahead of the 11th Trans Pride March in Istanbul. Istanbul Governorate closed subway and funicular lines. Taksim and Şişhane subway stations and Kabataş-Taksim funicular lines were closed. The police intervened against a group marching in Kadıköy Acıbadem streets despite the ban, at least 30 people were detained. DEM Party MPs Kezban Konukçu and Özgül Saki reacted to the intervention and followed the detentions.
