In Hatay Defne Bozlu Neighborhood, 6 people were detained while protesting against a quarry that continues to operate despite a court order. The women were released the same night, while the others were released after the prosecutor’s office. Mustafa Arslan, who was detained, stated that they were not given food and water until the morning. Arslan said that the quarry negatively affected agriculture and that they suffered crop loss. He claimed that the company continued to operate under a different name despite the lawsuit they had previously won.
