Youth Committee member and e-committee writer Ozan Deniz Ödemiş was arrested on December 24 on charges of “insulting Erdoğan.” Following his detention, Ödemiş was arrested by the court and sent to prison. In a statement regarding the arrest, the Youth Committees stated that the pressure on young people would not yield results.
