The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office Terrorism Crimes Investigation Bureau issued detention orders for eight suspects as part of an investigation into the FETÖ/PDY’s “Turkish Armed Forces confidential services” structure. Eight people, two of whom had previously been dismissed from public service, were detained in an operation carried out in Ankara. Searches conducted at the suspects’ addresses yielded 2.5 million TL in promissory notes, 173,895 TL, 31,960 USD, 12,865 EUR, 91 grams of gold, 1 full gold coin, 11 quarter gold coins, and numerous digital materials. One of the suspects taken into custody was arrested by the duty magistrate, while proceedings continued for the other seven.
