The objection made by Cemal Yıldırım, who was dismissed with a Statutory Decree issued within the State of Emergency declared for two years after the July 15 coup attempt, was denied by the State of Emergency Applications Monitoring Committee. The Committee based the denial on the protests made by Yıldırım after his dismissal and the investigations opened against him based on those protests.
