An indictment was prepared against 7 journalists due to “aiding a terrorist organization” in an Eskişehir-based investigation. The journalists’ articles in Yeni Özgür Politika and PolitikArt and the royalties they received were charged. Even their social media posts and number of followers were cited as evidence in the indictment. The first hearing will be held on December 9, 2025 at Istanbul 13th High Criminal Court.
