Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office issued a verdict of non-prosecution in the criminal complaint made by the death threat against journalist Hayri Demir on social media by a user named “Codename: GREEN”. The decree claimed that the identification of the owner of the account making the related threats was impossible. Journalists, including Demir, have been threatened by the social media user, “Codename: GREEN” last October.
