Yeniçağ Daily writer and Halk TV show producer Murat Ağırel has been threatened on social media by Justice and Development Party (AKP) Kapaklı District Organisation member Emrah Çelik, who had previously fought for Al Nusra in Syria as well. Last February, Ağırel had indicated that he was being threatened by a group and shared the messages he received on Twitter. In the statement he made, Ağırel had claimed that Melih Gökçek and his son Osman Gökçek were targeting him and causing these threats.
