Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality was targeted as part of the operations against the CHP. IETT General Director İrfan Demet and 20 other executives were detained on charges of “bid rigging”. The investigation is being conducted within the scope of the “Aziz İhsan Aktaş criminal organization”. ISFALT General Manager Burak Korzay was previously released after benefiting from effective remorse. The operations took place in 6 provinces, mainly in Istanbul.
