The jurisdiction crisis was resolved in the lawsuit filed regarding the CHP’s 38th Ordinary Assembly held in 2023. The 5th Criminal Chamber of the Ankara Regional Court of Justice decided that the case will be heard at the Ankara 26th Criminal Court of First Instance. Previously, both the Courts of First Instance and the High Criminal Court of First Instance had ruled out jurisdiction in the case against Özgür Özel, Ekrem İmamoğlu and other CHP members. With the new decision, the trial process will resume at the 26th Criminal Court of First Instance.
