Authorities blocked access to Ekrem İmamoğlu’s YouTube channel, which had 787,000 subscribers, and the Presidential Candidate’s Office’s X account, which had 222,000 followers. The decision was issued under Article 8/A of Law No. 5651 on the grounds of “national security” and “the protection of public order.” YouTube and X did not yet make the accounts unavailable in Türkiye.
