The Family Solidarity Network (ADA), formed by relatives of those arrested in operations targeting the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), held its 12th meeting in Saraçhane Park. At the meeting, Caner Aydar, brother of Ceyhan Mayor Kadir Aydar, revealed that their father, Mustafa Aydar, had suffered two strokes in prison and had a stent inserted: “Does he have to die?” he said.
Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu, who also spoke at the meeting, criticized the publication bans imposed on Ekrem İmamoğlu and the travel bans imposed on his family members: “It is unjust and immoral to make families the target of these illegalities.” ADA called for the trial to be conducted transparently and for the proceedings to be broadcast live.
