Leftist Party Istanbul Provincial Manager and lawyer Damla Atalay as well as Leftist Party Central Executive Board Member and lawyer Deniz Demirdöğen were acquitted at the first hearing of the lawsuit filed against them at Istanbul Anatolian 54th Court of First Instance on the charge of ‘insulting the President’ due to the press statement held in Istanbul on May 28 regarding the relationship between the state-mafia-politics.
