Yatağan Thermal Energy Production Company, operating in the Yatağan district of Muğla, filed a 1 million lira moral compensation lawsuit against Kazım Erol, the President of the Yatağan Green Life Association. In the lawsuit filed at the Yatağan Civil Court of First Instance, the company that operates the thermal power plant, which has been on the agenda for 40 years due to the ecological problems it has created, claimed that Erol damaged its commercial reputation with the messages and videos he shared on social media.
