Journalist Rojda Altıntaş announced on social media platform X that she had been detained. Altıntaş stated that she was told there was an arrest warrant against her during a GBT check and that she was taken in for questioning on allegations of “violating communication privacy” due to a news story. She said she did not yet know which news story had led to her being called in for questioning.
