Journalist Metin Yoksu, who voluntarily went to Batman Courthouse as part of an Artvin-based investigation, was arrested by the Criminal Court of Peace following his statement to the prosecutor. Journalists Semra Pelek, Dicle Baştürk, Ozan Cırık, Eylem Emel Yılmaz and translator Melisa Efe were previously detained as part of the same investigation. Yoksu was not found at home during a raid on June 13.
