Journalist Furkan Karabay’s request for release was rejected for the third time by Istanbul 11th Criminal Judgeship of Peace. Karabay, who has been held in Silivri Prison for 85 days on charges of “insulting the President” and “targeting people who took part in the fight against terrorism”, attended the hearing via SEGBİS from prison. The court accepted the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office’s request for continuation of detention.
