Journalist Celalettin Yalçın, who is on trial due to “being an illegal organization member”, was released on judicial control. Yalçın made his defense in Kurdish at the hearing held at Istanbul 37th High Criminal Court. Although the prosecutor’s office demanded the continuation of detention, the court ruled for the release of Yalçın, who has been arrested for three years, with judicial control measures, taking into account the length of his sentence.
