The X platform blocked access to JinNews’ new Turkish account on January 10, following the blocking of its previously blocked Turkish, Kurdish, and English accounts. The agency announced that the new account, opened after the blocking of the @TurkceJinnews, @KurdiJinnews, and @jinnewsenglish accounts, had also been made invisible by the platform. JinNews stated that the application constitutes censorship.
