DEM Party Van Deputy Gülderen Varlı brought allegations of negligence regarding Rojin Kabaiş’s disappearance and death to the Parliament’s agenda.
Varlı drew attention to the interventions in the justice protests at YYÜ campus, stating that there were allegations that “some police officers sent friend requests to female students on social media after the protests.”
The MP directed questions regarding data security and the protection of women to Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş. Varlı stated that clarifying the negligence in the Rojin Kabaiş case is imperative for the public conscience.
