Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has launched an ex officio investigation into the alleged meeting between Murat Kapki and lawyer Mücahit Birinci in prison. CHP Chairman Özgür Özel shared the complaint petition submitted to Tekirdağ Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office by Murat Kapki, who is under arrest in the IBB investigation, and claimed that Birinci pressured Kapki to sign the statement report and pay 2 million dollars. The Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that the developments regarding the investigation launched to investigate the process in question and the content of the meeting will be shared with the public when necessary.
