The General Command of the Gendarmerie, in coordination with public prosecutors’ offices, carried out an operation targeting ISIS in 21 provinces on June 2. During the operations, which took place in provinces including Adana, Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, and Gaziantep, 70 suspects alleged to be linked to the organization were taken into custody.
