An investigation has been launched into two individuals following the release of footage filmed at the historic Aziziye Mosque in Konya’s Karatay district and shared on social media. An investigation by the Konya Provincial Police Department determined that the footage was recorded by a woman and a man who arrived in Konya on a motorcycle and filmed the incident. The Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation on January 6 against two individuals on allegations of inappropriate behavior at the mosque.
