An investigation has been launched against Şükrü Mısırlıoğlu, a retired worker living in the Hopa district of Artvin, on the grounds that he “violated the ban on alcohol advertising” due to his social media posts. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry requested a defense from Mısırlıoğlu and stated that an administrative fine of millions of liras could be imposed. Mısırlıoğlu said his posts were not made for commercial purposes.
