An investigation was launched against a citizen named Cemil Taşkesen, who said, “Our language is being denied, our identity is being denied, Kurdistan is being denied” during a dialogue with IYI Party leader Meral Akşener, who was visiting Siirt. Taşkesen was detained and was later released as part of the investigation initiated by the Kurtalan Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office on the allegation of “making terrorist organisation propaganda”.
