DEM Party Diyarbakır MP Serhat Eren brought to the Parliament’s attention allegations that a disciplinary investigation had been launched against inmates at the Diyarbakır Open Prison who chanted the slogan “Champion Amedspor.” Eren stated that measures had been taken against approximately 150 inmates and that investigations had been opened against at least 15 of them. Eren said the measures violated freedom of expression.
