The prosecutor in the cooperative investigation targeting the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has been replaced yet again. Defne Soyer, the attorney for former Izmir Metropolitan Mayor Tunç Soyer—who has been in custody for approximately 10 months—stated that three prosecutors and three court panels have been replaced throughout the process. Defne Soyer filed a motion for release, noting that the MASAK report contained no findings against Tunç Soyer.
