According to the Human Rights Association’s (İHD) “2024 Human Rights Violations Report,” at least 6,094 people lost their lives as a result of violations of the right to life. At least 260 investigations were launched and 355 lawsuits were filed against hundreds of people exercising their freedoms of thought, expression, press, association, and peaceful assembly.
The Human Rights Association (İHD) published its “2024 Human Rights Violations Report.” The 2024 report, prepared annually by the association, was compiled from information gathered from news reports, official statements, and statements from human rights organizations and various civil society organizations working in different fields.
