Four teachers who protested the Vocational and Technical Education Summit organized by the Ministry of National Education with the participation of employers on December 3 were brought to Bakırköy Courthouse. In a statement supported by unions affiliated with Eğitim Sen and DİSK, the teachers said that MESEM increased child labor and excluded education workers. The prosecutor’s office referred the four teachers to judicial control on charges of “violating Law 2911.” The court released the teachers with a ban on leaving the country.
